One of the core function of The Metamorphosing Bank is to offer individual safe deposit for the prestige members along with general banking for the public. The building aims to establish a secure environment through maximizing the general public exposure rather than hiding the parts which demands a high security. The unique approach inspired by criminology regarding the relationship between the likely hood of a property being robbed against the unexpected exposure creates fundamental grounding for the macro concept of the building. Considering the building itself as a lock the clients are those whom proceeds in unlocking the building by altering its spatial layout. Constant metamorphosing of the spatial typology and the building becoming ever more noticeable by each unlocking sequence further secures the building from any security breach and penetration.

New Ways of Communicating Architectural Agenda - AR Integrated Drawing

Architectural drawing and representation using augmented reality (ar)

Vuforia AR Platform

By understanding how the AR platform recognises an image the process can be reverse engineered to create a physical drawing that can be fully interactive. This is particularly useful as such solution holds huge potential in architectural design communication. The fact that an AR system holds a physical aspect allows the digital updating feedback recognition through a more familiar physical alteration. Such comprehensive feedback and alteration enables the user to be more aware of the design and intention through the creators carefully choreographed narrative.

VR Supported Game with Baked Light and Mix of Static and Dynamic Objects

Using Unity game engine, The Metamorphosing Bank proposes to visualise and communicate a consistent and complex shifting spatial topology through gameplay and narrative of a bank client unlocking the building to reach to the final vault chamber.
